[07-30-2000] zygoma : I am having problems with Tomb Raider 4. When I get to the end of one of the levels (Guardian of Semerkhet), the cutscene for the next level (Desert railroad) plays, but then the program cuts out. Can anyone help?

[07-30-2000] saintly : From what I hear, several PC users have reported the same problem with the Level 11 - 'Guardian of Semerkhet' in TR4. Try these steps; Go to the Game Setup (either click 'Setup' from the menu that pops up when you put in the CD, or the 'Setup' program in the Tombraider folder (usually C:\Program Files\Core Design\Tomb Raider Last Revelation)
Go to graphics settings, then disable 'Bump Mapping'. This *might* fix the problem by itself; you can try to go back to your game and see if it works. If not, also select 'Disable FMV'. (You can put both of these setting back after you save on the next level)
This should solve the problem, but if your game *still* crashes, reply back and I'll give you a saved game for the next level. Let me know if you've installed the TRLR patch.
